Training Camp Has Started

It's full steam ahead for the Lions as they prepare for another season and defend last year's provincial championship.  After a successful spring training session the team took some time off for the summer and opened up the regular season training camp on July 21st. There is a solid group of returning veteran players who have come to the try-outs as well as a very impressive looking group of first year players who have come up from the Pee-Wee ranks. Already, there seems to be a good chemistry among the players which is a good sign that they will once again be contenders for this year's provincial championship, but with only two weeks to go before the season opener on August 12th, there is still a lot of work to do.  Come on out and support the Lions at Parc Polybel in Richelieu at 19:30 as they begin their regular season against the Pirates.
