Lions Honour Their Best At Team Awards Banquet

The North Shore Lions held their team awards banquet to recognize the best individual efforts of the 2006 season.  Joey Fulginiti was honoured for the spectacular season that he had by earning 3 major awards.  In addition to winning the Overall MVP award for the team, he was also recognized as the MVP for his position at DB as well as the MVP on Special Teams.  

Other winners that were selected for their work in the 2006 season were:  

MVP Offense - Matt Leblanc

MVP Defense - Jesse St. James

MVP Offensive Line - Arto Khatchikian

MVP Defensive Line - Francis Richard

MVP Receivers - Richard Elias

MVP Running Backs - Josh George

MVP Linebackers - Jessy Thompson

MIP Offense - Phil Hébert

MIP Defense - Kevin Kilbourne

Impact Player - Ross Olshansky

Brian Sherstone Award - Ben Heazle

Rookie of the Year Offense - Sammy Mesidor

Rookie of the Year Defense - Greg Lee

In addition to these awards, the Iron Man Award was given to the following players for having had perfect attendance in practice throughout the season.
