The Offensive Line - Unsung Heroes Of The Lions

Game after game, play after play, there is a group of players on every football team that never gets the right amount of recognition for the work that they do on the football field and that is the offensive line.  While other players are scoring points, making tackles and accumulating personal stats, the guys on the offensive line are the ones that keep doing their jobs without any recognition in the stats books.  We all know, in the backs of our minds, that without them the running backs would never score all their touchdowns and the quarterbacks would never be able to complete any passes but we never seem to take the time to give them the recognition that they deserve.  These are the guys that pave the way by opening holes for the running backs and protecting the QB from the opposing pass rush.   It's a thankless and extremely brutal job being in the trenches each and every play with no numbers to show for it but these guys have earned the right to be recognized for it.
