Lions with the MU17 QBFL All-star team

Ten players and four coaches from the 2005 provincial champion North Shore Lions will be representing the team on this year’s QBFL all-star team to compete in the MU17 Wilson Challenge tournament.  The players are:

Martin Ranallo – Defensive Line

Olivier Lavigne – Offensive Line

Francis Monpetit – Offensive Line

Arto Khatchikian - Offensive Line

Shane McKenna – Running Back

Faran Farooq - Running Back

Kevin Hillier – Quarterback

Josh Bradshaw – Defensive Back

Joey Fulginiti – Defensive Back

Derek Zacard – Defensive Back

Lions Head Coach, Jason Jourdenais, will be handling the head coaching duties for the all-star team as well.  Other members of last year’s Lions coaching staff with the all-star team include Marc Lalonde and Scott DeWitt who will be the run-game coordinator and pass-game coordinator respectively.  From the defense, Curtis Aiken will be responsible for the defensive backs.
