Still Undefeated After 43-0 Win Over Wildcats

With just one game
left in their regular season, the North Shore Lions are still
undefeated this season after beating the Laurentian Wildcats by a score
of 43-0. This extends the team's streak to 37 straight games
without a loss. Jean-Fritz Charles and Josh George were the
leading scorers in the game with two TD receptions apiece,
including a spectacular 75 yard pass and run play from QB Matt Leblanc
to Charles for the first score of the night. Receiver Richie
Elias hauled in one himself from Leblanc for his 10th TD reception of
the season. George's second TD reception came from backup QB Max St. James later in the game.
The only running TD for the Lions came from Sammy Mesidor on a 31 yard
scamper into the endzone. Joey Fulginiti was successful on four
converts and one field goal.
The North Shore
defensive machine was as strong as ever, giving up only 30 yards
of total offense to the Wildcats. Turning in another solid game
at linebacker was Greg Lee with an interception and a solo QB sack
along with another one that was shared with Oliver Bernardi who also came up with a blocked punt. Other
interceptions were made by Shaquille Lattimore and Chris Coll and more
sacks were made by Jessy Thompson, Francis "Gédéon"
Richard, Jesse St. James and Joey Fulginiti. Tristan Durn-Rothwell came through with a key fumble recovery.
Next week, the
Lions prepare for their last regular season game when they host the St.
Lazare Stallions at Riverdale on Friday, October 13th at 20:00.
