Lions Win Season Opener 32 - 7 vs Sun Youth Hornets

                    
On a hot and humid night at Jeanne Mance Park in Montreal.  The North Shore Lions started their 2009 season with a 32 -7 vicory over the Sun Youth Hornets.
The Lions started the game firing on all cylinders.  They quickly scored the first touchdown of the game on a running play by Kevin Kyere.  They followed that up with a touchdown run by Davide Santilli, then Cedric Joseph(pictured above) ran a punt back for a touchdown and another touchdown run by Davide Santilli.  The Lions went into halftime with a commanding 29 - 0 lead.

The Lions defense play a superb game, not giving up anything to the Hornets.  The Hornets only score of the game, came on an interception return against the Lions offense.

The Lions next game will be their home opener on August 21st 8:00 PM at Riverdale against their West Island Rivals the Lakeshore Cougars.
