10 Lions Among League's Best At QBFL Banquet

Ten players from the North Shore Lions have been selected to be among the league's best at the QBFL awards banquet that was recently held to recognize the top performances for the 2006 season.  Among the honours, 4 were selected as the MVP at their position in the Bill Allan division while 6 others were selected as All-Stars.  

MVP Quarterback - Matt Leblanc

MVP Linebacker - Jesse St. James

MVP Receiver - Richard Elias

MVP Defensive Back - Joey Fulginiti

All-Star Running Back - Josh George

All-Star Linebacker - Jessy Thompson

All-Star Receiver - Ross Olshansky

All-Star Offensive Line - Arto Khatchikian

All-Star Defensive Line - Francis Richard

All-Star Defensive Line - Ben Heazle

All of these award winners also receive an automatic nomination for the QBFL Elites All-Star team which will begin training for the upcoming 2007 edition of the Wilson Challenge in the next few months.  Good luck to all of you in making the team.
